Hi, I’m Jennifer Pertofsky-Plotnek, I have over 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, career stress, life transitions, and work-life balance.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Smith College and specialize in supporting professionals, students, and parents in managing anxiety, building confidence, and setting healthy boundaries.
I understand how anxiety can impact decision-making, productivity, and overall well-being, whether in your career or personal life. That’s why I take a practical, solution-focused approach, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and coaching techniques to help you develop actionable strategies to manage stress, quiet self-doubt, and feel more in control.

Jennifer Pertofsky-Plotnek is a licensed therapist across multiple states & accepts some insurance in Maryland and Virginia.
Licensed in: Maryland | Virginia | New York
I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company to understand your coverage for out-of-network mental health services.
Coaching services are not covered by insurance but may be eligible for reimbursement through an HSA or FSA.
