Hi, I’m Jennifer Pertofsky-Plotnek, I have over 20 years of experience helping students and professionals manage anxiety, career stress, and work-life balance during life's transitions.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Smith College and bring a background not only in therapy but also in health and wellness coaching. This allows me to integrate mental health support with practical strategies for building resilience, confidence, and healthier daily routines.

I know how anxiety can affect focus, decision-making, productivity, and overall well-being — whether in your career, your studies, or your personal life. That’s why I take a practical, solution-focused approach, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and coaching strategies to help you quiet self-doubt, manage stress, and feel more in control.

Whether you’re feeling stuck in your career, burned out from trying to do it all, or navigating the complexities of living with a chronic condition, coaching offers a space to reset and refocus. I help professionals and students clarify their goals, set healthy boundaries, and build strategies that align with their values—not just their to-do lists. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way and create realistic, personalized action plans that support both your success and your well-being. I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.  Please check with your insurance company to understand your coverage for out-of-network mental health services.

Coaching services are not covered by insurance but may be eligible for reimbursement through an HSA or FSA.
